Our commitment

Prontaclean wants the website and service to be usable by the widest practical range of customers. The site is designed with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 level AA as its working benchmark, while recognising that Prontaclean is a small private-sector service and the website has not yet received an independent formal accessibility audit.

Prontaclean also aims to make reasonable adjustments for disabled customers using the laundry and dry-cleaning service.

Accessibility features

The website includes:

• keyboard-operable navigation, forms and booking controls;
• visible focus styles and skip links;
• semantic headings, labels and accessible names for interactive controls;
• responsive layouts that work at mobile sizes and high browser zoom;
• colour contrast and typography chosen for readability;
• descriptive alternative text for meaningful images;
• plain-language booking, pricing and service information.

Current status

Internal checks have covered keyboard use, responsive layouts, form labels, heading structure, image alternatives and common booking journeys. The website is intended to be substantially usable against the WCAG 2.2 AA benchmark, but this is not a claim of independently certified full conformance.

If a barrier is discovered, Prontaclean will assess it and make a reasonable correction or provide the information or service another way.

Third-party services

Parts of secure online payment are provided by WooCommerce, Stripe and supported wallet providers. These interfaces may have accessibility behaviour outside Prontaclean’s direct control. Please contact the shop if the payment page is difficult to use; the team can discuss an appropriate alternative without requiring sensitive card information by email or contact form.

Feedback and alternative access

If you cannot access information, complete a booking or use part of the site, tell Prontaclean what you were trying to do, which page caused difficulty and what device or assistive technology you were using if you are comfortable sharing it.

The team will aim to acknowledge accessibility feedback within five working days and provide the information or service in a reasonable alternative format where practicable. You can also telephone or visit the shop rather than booking online.
